Local MP Alan Mak has hosted a successful 9th annual Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair at Bedhampton Community Centre.
The event enabled a variety of employers to show what roles they can offer and jobseekers to find out more about options in person.
Visitors could ask about vacancies, career paths and training, plus get information about higher education.
Exhibitors included Hampshire Constabulary, UK Border Force and South Western Railway.
Education and training were represented by Hampshire Training and Assessments Ltd, the University of Chichester, the National Careers Service and Smart Training and Recruitment, plus Havant Borough Council's Link Up Employability Hub.
Meanwhile the healthcare sector included Platinum Care Solutions Group, Unity Care Specialists, Right at Home and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust.
Locally-based employers also featured, from critical power specialists P&I Generators to Comserv, which carries out repairs and maintenance for councils and housing associations.
Visitors included students from Park Community School, Leigh Park and Jubilee School, Waterlooville who were able to find out more about future career or study options.
Eldrin Magnaye is studying environmental science at university and was looking for work experience opportunities and possible career paths in conservation and sustainability.
The 22-year-old from Havant said: "I have found the Fair very useful. It has been good to have a wide variety of sectors represented here."
His sister Einah, 17, who is in the Sixth Form at Oaklands Catholic School, was looking for information on degree apprenticeships.
India Lewis from exhibitor Vivid Homes said: "We've had a lot of interest, mainly in the apprenticeships we offer. Parents have been asking us on behalf of their children."
Her colleague Gemma Wright added: "The Fair has given us the chance to talk face to face with people."
The Jobs Fair has been an annual fixture ever since Mr Mak was first elected to represent the Havant Constituency in 2015. Previous exhibitors have gone on to recruit as a direct result of meeting jobseekers at the Fair.
Mr Mak said: "I was delighted to host the Jobs Fair again and give people the opportunity to get advice and information about a range of options.
"I'll continue to do what I can to support people making decisions on their future, whether that be an entry into the world of work, a change of career or gaining more qualifications."
