Local MP Alan Mak has taken part in the annual Christmas lights switch-on in Emsworth.
Hundreds of residents gathered to sing carols before Father Christmas arrived to help local schoolchildren switch on the lights in St Peter's Square.
Crowds enjoyed a performance from local school choirs and the town's famous lobster pot Christmas tree down on the Quay was also lit up.
Mr Mak said: "I attend the Emsworth Christmas lights switch-on every year and really enjoyed being part of this fantastic annual community event again. "
"Thank you to Emsworth councillor Lulu Bowerman for her hard work organising it and to Rev Andrew Sheard from St James' Church and all those volunteers who were involved in making the switch-on such a success. It was a great way to kick off the festive season!"
